Preferred Provider Organization (“PPO”) Plans
Members enrolled in a Coventry Dental PPO plan have access to our network of more than 105,000 locations and dentists throughout the country. By seeing a network dentist, members enjoy the advantages of:
- High quality service from credentialed providers
- Lower out-of-pocket costs due to discounted provider fees and no balance billing
- Providers complete and submit claim forms on member’s behalf
- No referrals required to visit a specialist.
Members also have the freedom to visit any licensed dentist outside the network. Members will typically pay the dentist for services performed and submit a claim to Coventry Dental for reimbursement. The member is responsible for the difference between the provider’s billed charge and the amount reimbursed by Coventry Dental.
To ensure maximum savings, members should visit an in-network provider.

Welcome to Coventry Dental! It is now easier than ever to manage your family"s dental health needs on-line. With your Member ID and Group Number located on your ID Card, you can log in to our secure site and:
- Check your eligibility
- View your benefits
- View your claims
- Access your Certificate of Coverage

Our automated voice response system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except for scheduled maintenance times.)

If you are not yet a member of a Coventry Dental plan, contact the Human Resources or Benefits Department at your employer and ask how you can enroll.
